Here are the steps on how to add custom size to Toolbox component.
For this example, we shall be adding a custom size M2 to the Socket Button Head Cap Screw.
Step 1. Close any active session in SolidWorks. Then go to Options > Hole Wizard/Toolbox > Click Configure.
Step 2. The Toolbox Configuration Manager will open up. Click Customize your hardware.
Step 3.
(1) Find the component you want to add the custom size.
(2) Select on Size.
(3) Click the + plus sign to add a new custom size.
Step 4. Type in the specification for the custom size. Then click OK.
Step 5. Add length for the custom size. (You can add as many lengths as needed).
Step 6. Type in the custom size name and the length for this size. (If more length is needed, repeat this step.)
Step 7. Now the custom size as well as its length has been added. Save the configuration before closing the Toolbox Configuration Manager.
Now the custom size for the component can be selected.
