When working with an assembly that contains a lot of mates, the mates folder can have hundreds or thousands of mates, and they are all at the same level. They can be grouped into logical sub-folders using Group Mates. Use of the folders can be toggled on and off as needed. You can group your mates by:
1)By Status
Grouping my status creates sub-folders under the Mates folder:
- Solved includes mates that are solved without errors.
- Errors includes mates that contain errors.
- Over Defined includes mates that contain warnings.
- Suppressed includes that are directly suppressed.
- Suppressed (Missing) includes mates that indirectly suppressed by missing components.
- Inactive (Fixed) includes inactive mates that reference fixed components.
2) By Separate Fasteners
Grouping with separate fasteners creates Fasteners sub-folders under each of the status folders that apply. Fasteners can be grouped independently or with status.
