You can convert batch SOLIDWORKS files into STEP file version using Task Scheduler.
- Go to Windows Start and type Task Scheduler. Click Task Scheduler 2023.
- Once open, you can see there are multiple option that can be choose from. And select the icon Export Files.
- Then, there are multiple files format that we can choose from for the conversion. Select STEP 214.
- Then, you can choose either to select particular files or the whole folder to do the conversion method.
- Then for task schedule, you can just choose what time do yo want to perform the task, for example during lunch hour when you are away from the laptop. after that, the task output folder is where the output after the conversion done.
- Finally, click finish and the rest SOLIDWORKS will take over and do the task for covert the files. There is a report that report which of the drawing is complete and which of it are in progress. By clicking the report status, you can see the details.
