You can save any views on your drawing as a Named View for ease of reference. The Views command also lets you save, restore and control your Named Views.
Click View > Named Views (or type Views)
There are three tabs in the Views dialog box, Model, Sheets and Defaults. Each tab displays a list of available named views.
To save named views:
Click on New.
In the View dialog box, type in a view name.
In Class, type a new class name or select a class. Or, you can leave Class set to <None>.
Under Boundaries, set options:
As displayed: This uses the boundaries of the current display.
Specify later: This allows you to define a windowed area of the current view. You can click Specify later and define a rectangular area in the graphics area, then press Enter.
Under Background:
Ignore default: Specifies whether to display a background with the named view.
Click OK twice to create the named view.
To restore named views:
Click View > Named Views (or type Views).
Under the view names, select a view to restore.
Click OK.
To edit view boundaries:
Click View > Named Views (or type Views).
Under the view names, select the view you want to edit.
Click Edit.
In the graphics area, specify new boundaries, and press Enter.
Click OK.
To delete named views:
Click View > Named Views (or type Views).
In the views, select the view to delete.
Click Delete.
