Separate
The Separate tool creates independent feature regions. This command performs the opposite function of The Merge tool.

The Separate tool is useful for:

- Make sure that there is a mesh object added to the Reference Data in the Result Data tab.
- Select a feature region to separate. Feature regions that have been distributed in separate areas can be a target feature region for this command.
Note: To select feature regions only, toggle the Filter Faces/Regions on in the Select Filter.
- In the REGION tab, in the Edit group, click Separate or go to MENU > Tools > Region Tools > Separate.
- The feature regions will be individually separated.
