How to add thickness link from sheet metal design into the custom properties.
- Edit the custom property by locate to Windows start à Solidworks tools 2022 à Property tab Builder 2022.
Open the existing custom property from the location below.
C:\ProgramData\SOLIDWORKS\SOLIDWORKS 2022\lang\english
On the thickness property enter the following value.
Thickness@’Partname’.SLDPRT
Click Save and return to SOLIDWORKS.
To refresh the custom property in SOLIDWORKS, press F5.
The thickness property would works on the sheet metal design only.
