Here we would like to demonstrate on how we can use Wrap Curve feature to Manipulate surface.
- Example that we had created a surface as shown by using sweep from the two curves.
2. We draw a Sketch as shown as a Target wireframe. The idea is that we want our current surface to morph according the the new curve of the sketch.
3. Within the Advanced Surface toolbar, click the Wrap Curve icon.
Select the shown sweep surface as the Element to deform.
4. Select the edge of the surface at the end near the Target sketch as shown for the Reference.
Select Sketch.3 for the Target.
5. Click Preview.
You may observe that a new surface is created following the Target curve shape and still maintaining the previous sweep curvature.
6. Within the curves tab, click the bottom of the 1st pair to activate the 2nd pair selection.
7. For the 2nd pair, you may select the same edge as shown for both Reference and Target.
Click Preview.
8. You also can change the last curves to Keep curvature. Observe on how the surface smoothness change accordingly.
Click OK.
