If you recently renewed your subscription or purchased additional SOLIDWORKS licenses of the same product type as your current products, then the existing serial numbers need to be reactivated on the SOLIDWORKS Product Activation before users can utilize them. Once reactivated, the number of newly purchased licenses will be refresh and displayed with new reactivation date.
- Open SOLIDWORKS and go to Help menu to access Licenses option. Then choose the Activate option.
- In the newly opened SOLIDWORKS Product Activation dialog, you can Select All for product licenses more than one or if just one product license you may ignore the button, pick the Automatically over the Internet (recommended) instead of manually via email (for offline computer) and proceed verify the valid email address. Then click Next.
- The SOLIDWORKS Product Activation then connects to the SOLIDWORKS server to activate the serial numbers. An activation progress window will display briefly the activity.
- Once complete, a confirmation dialog displays with your current license information. Click Finish to return to the SOLIDWORKS.
Your serial numbers are now activated and ready to use!
