1. In the menu bar, select Teamwork > Teamwork Palette.
2. This is the teamwork palette, where you can explore with the feature and start working collaboratively with your project teams.
- The top of the palette shows the user name and the user’s online/offline status.
- There are four panels in Teamwork Palette:
- Send & Receive: For any project updates/changes, whether to send to others/ receive from others.
- Reserve: Select a free reservation element to be reserved by you and only editable by you. (Concurrently, others cannot reserve/ edit this element until they request the permission from you).
- Release All: If you have selected elements reserved by you, click Release button to release them. Release All is available when nothing is selected, and all your reservation elements will be released once you click.
- Colored Workspaces: Select a method from the drop-down menu to differentiate project elements by color based on ownership.
- My Workspace: An overview of all project items, including both elements and non-elements, that you have reserved.
This panel displays the users currently participating in the project. If a user is offline, the “person” icon next to their name will appear grayed out. Each user’s name is accompanied by a color that can be used to identify their elements in the single model.
From left to right:
– Force Leave: Force users to leave the teamwork project.
– Send Message: Create new message and select who you want to send.
– Set User Colour: You can reset the user colour here.
From left to right:
– To do: Task you need to accomplish.
– Pending Requests: Requested messages from others that pending your permission.
– Completed: Task that you completed and no longer need any action.
– Send New message: To create a new message.
– Reply Message: Select a message and click this icon for replying to the message.
– Move to Completed: Click to move this message to the Completed list.
(d) Project Changes Panel
This feature allows Teamwork users to track changes made by other team members in the project.
Note: This feature only available in BIMcloud and is not included in the BIMcloud Basic feature set.
3. To exit teamwork. File> Leave Teamwork Project> Leave Project.
