New in SOLIDWORKS 2022, you can select text as an entity to pattern in Linear Sketch Pattern

To pattern a text in sketch:

1. Create a new part and insert a sketch.
2. Sketch a line or curve as a guide for the text.

   

3. Insert Text.

   

4. For the Curves, select the line or curve created earlier.
   Type your text in the box provided, then click OK.

   

5. Launch the Linear Sketch Pattern command.

   

6. Key in the specifications accordingly.
   For the Entities to Pattern, select the Text.

   

7. Click OK.
