By sweeping existing two-dimensional things down a path, the Sweep command enables you to construct distinctive solid primitives or surfaces. Solid objects are created by sweeping things along closed curves as routes, whereas surfaces are created by sweeping entities along lines or open bounds.
Steps for sweep 2D entities:
- Select Solids > Draw > Sweep (or type Sweep).
- Press Enter after selecting the entities to sweep.
- Choose the entities that control the sweep path.
