After the preprocessing operations, the study is ready to be run. This stage is known as processing. In the processing stage, matrices are obtained from the preprocessing operations which describe the stiffness of the structure as well as loads on the structure. These matrices are then combined to obtain the response of the structure. The response of the structure is what is then analyzed in the postprocessing stage of the analysis.
Run the simulation study by right clicking the Study Name and select “Run”. After that a solver window will appear. You can monitor or pause the solution in the solver window while the analysis is running. Furthermore, you may click”More>>” button to observe more information when the solver is running. The results will automatically show when the solver is finished calculation.
Next, we will know about the postprocessing stage (Analyze the results).
You may follow these steps below to conduct the same example as above:
- Right click on the study name and select “Run”.
- The solver will start to solve the simulation study.
- Waiting for the solver complete the study.
