The Shell feature hollows out a solid body, leaving a uniform wall thickness. You can choose whether to remove certain faces or keep all faces intact.
Steps to Create a Shell Feature:
1. Click Shell on the Features toolbar or go to Insert > Features > Shell.
2. In the PropertyManager, set the following parameters:
- Thickness – defines the wall thickness.
- Faces to Remove – select one or more faces to remove:
- No faces selected – all faces remain with a uniform thickness. (Note: Section View is typically used here to display the hollow interior, since the difference is not visible from the exterior.)
