1. At the administative image created, click at ‘sldAdminOptionEditor.exe’ in the Installation Manager to launches the Administrative Image Option Editor application.
2. The Setup tab provides customization options for Global Settings which is applied to all machines that do not have explicitly defined with overrides. Click the ‘Change’ button in the top right to modify settings.
3. Add applicable serial numbers for the various products and specify the SNL Server port@server.
Eg: 25734@servername
4. Choose to upgrade existing installs or install a new (separate) major version. The client installation folder path can be modified if needed.
5. Optionally, set the login and password for Administrative user on the Administrative options.
(Full administrator permissions are required during the install of SOLIDWORK)
6. To specify different licenses/products to certain users, create groups of machines and specific machines.
7. Machined can be specified using Machine Name, IP Address or IP address range.
