The Copy Scheme tool allows you to copy DimXpert annotations (dimensions, tolerances, datums) from one configuration to another, especially helpful for maintaining consistent tolerancing across part variants.
1. Open the Part
2. Activate the Configuration with Annotations
3. Go to the DimXpert tab in the CommandManager and click on Copy Scheme.
4. Configure the Copy
- Source Configuration: Select the one with the annotations (Default).
5. Click OK – SOLIDWORKS will transfer the selected DimXpert scheme to the new configuration.
Tip:
You may need to adjust visibility by turning on annotations for that configuration (View > Hide/Show > Annotations).
